RedBull Academy - Rome 2004

I was commissioned by Max magazine to document the Red Bull Music Academy, which brought together 60 emerging artists from around the world in Rome. Set in the atmospheric Monastero di Sant’Ambrogio, the academy became a hub for lectures, recording sessions, and live performances. My photographs trace the encounters between musicians of different genres and backgrounds, capturing the raw energy of collaboration and experimentation. The images reveal a brief moment when Rome became a stage for global sound and cultural exchange.
